Dr. Foley has been practicing regenerative medicine for over 30 years, specializing in weight-loss and hormone-replacement therapy. He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University Hospitals.
Dr. Foley joined Myrtle Beach Diet in February 2025. He and his wife, Diane, have been married for 47 years and have 3 daughters and sons-in-law, 1 son and daughter-in-law, and 12 grandchildren.
Elizabeth Hooven, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in primary care and emergency medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Certificate in Public Health from Kent State University. Elizabeth has extensive clinical experience providing comprehensive patient care across a variety of healthcare settings.
Elizabeth began her nursing career in emergency and acute care, where she developed strong procedural skills and a passion for patient-centered medicine. She later transitioned into primary care as a Nurse Practitioner with Tidelands Health, where she focused on preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and patient education.
Elizabeth is particularly passionate about helping patients look and feel their best through personalized wellness and aesthetic care. She has experience with injectable treatments such as neurotoxins, stem cell and regenerative therapies, hormone optimization, and medical weight management, including the use of GLP-1 therapies. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with an individualized treatment philosophy to help patients achieve both their health and aesthetic goals.
Known for her compassionate bedside manner and attention to detail, Elizabeth strives to create a comfortable and trusting environment for every patient she treats.
Outside of the clinic, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband, Taylor, her friends, and her two Bengal kitties. She enjoys trying to keep her many house plants alive, attending live music events, spending time at the beach, and being outdoors. She also enjoys watching college football on Saturdays and cheering on her beloved Buckeyes; O-H! Elizabeth is originally from Northeast Ohio and moved to the beach in early 2015.
